Nakagawa launched the Attack on Titan: Junior High comedy manga in Kodansha's Bessatsu Sho-nen Magazine in April 2012. The manga re-imagines Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and other cast members from the original manga as students and teachers at Titan Junior High School.

Production I.G opened a website on Friday to reveal that Saki Nakagawa's Attack on Titan: Junior High (Shingeki! Kyojin Chu-gakko-) spinoff manga based on Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan manga is getting a television anime adaptation that will premiere on MBS and other stations in October.
