Three MIT students are on a road trip to take Haley to California, but Nick is angered at her decision, believing this is her breaking up with him, as his legs are no longer functioning correctly because he has muscular dystrophy. But when they stay at a hotel, Nick and Jonah discover that the hacker NOMAD, has found their location and is taunting them with strange and ominous emails. Then, after Nick and Haley talk, they decide to track NOMAD down.
